It’s tempting to get involved in things, under the guise of helping. To insert my opinion into a conversation or dispute.

But an important question I need to pause and ask before I add my voice to the mix: Am I supporting or shouting over?

If I’m not the one directly involved in the conflict, who is?

Do they need or want my input? Are they asking for my opinion? Am I helping or adding noise? Am I contributing or making waves? Am I supporting or shouting over?
